For old business, we had a discussion about Pancake Day. This will be at Gates Hall on Apr 22. Serve from 7 to 11. Menu is same as always. We want to advertise the week before, so it needs to be in the Journal on Thursday, April 13. There was assignment of tasks: John -- sausage, Charlene -- ingredients, Willy -- advertising, Susan -- displays, Jim -- Street signs and grill. We would like to place flyers in store windows, about two weeks in advance. Willie was going to print them and Mike was going to put them up. We should advertise in Chamber of Commerce Weekly Electronic Newsletter and web site. Willey said that he will check into this.
Susan read a letter from Leader Dog about purchasing a plaque. We declined purchasing a plaque.
There were two letters thanking our Lions Club for Gift Baskets. Read by Bob Hunter, I think.
