Indian Creek Country Club, Wednesday Evening, Feb 26, 2020 -- Loren Heckathorne
The Nevada Lions Club held its regular Board of Directors meeting, Feb 26, 2020, in the Indian Creek Country Club dining room. President Paul Malsom called the meeting to order at 8:14 pm and acted as Chairperson, with the following members present:

Secretary Heckathorne read the Minutes from the Jan 8 Board meeting. Jerry Radke motioned to approve the Minutes, 2nd by Steve Jordening. Motion Passed.
John Beals presented the Treasurer's report. Steve Jordening made a motion to accept the Treasurer's report, 2nd by Sandy Richardson. Motion passed. John Beals also presented a pancake report.
For Bills of Account, there was one bill from Jerry Radke in the amount of $31.20 to pay for hosting our web site. Susan Radke made a motion to pay the bill; 2nd by Loren Heckathorne. Motion passed.
Old Business.
Paul noted that we passed around and all signed a card for Dick Settle, during
dinner.
John said that he would pay more items from the project fund. Parade expenses and the high school choir were given as examples.
New Business.
We had a donation request from SVOSH (Optometry School in Tennessee). We declined.
We received a donation request from Iowa Lions Youth Exchange. In past years we have served a meal at the camp. The camp has moved to Earlham, which is too far away to do a meal. Steve made a motion to give them $50, 2nd by Susan. Motion passed.
ISU dining -- Odyssey of the Mind, which is May 27 - 30. Available meals are breakfast, lunch and dinner. We need a shift of 5 Lions, with one Lion being the team leader. The team leader needs to be there for all 4 days.
Jerry explained that our domain expires May 10. The 1 year cost is $30.40, while the 3 year cost is $88.80. Steve moved to get the 3 year deal, 2nd by Susan. Motion passed.
Being finished with our business, we adjourned at 8:44.
