The Nevada Lions Club met at Indian Creek Country Club on Jan 12, 2022, with the following persons in attendance:

Secretary Heckathorne read the previous Minutes. Jerry made a motion to approve, Second by Mike. Motion passed.
John Beals presented the Financial Report: Loren made a motion to accept the Treasurer's Report, Second made by Charlene. Motion passed.
There were no bills of account. Also note that ICCC hasn't billed us for our Christmas party meals.
Jerry is looking into our web hosting. The 4 year option saves us money. Loren moved to do the 4 year deal, Second by Charlene. Motion passed.
We usually do our annual Lions donations in January. Charlene made a motion to send Leader Dog $100, Diabetes Awareness $100, Iowa Lions Foundation $350 and LCIF $50. Tom made the Second - Motion passed. Note that there is no Puppy Program this year.
We are still waiting to schedule Pancakes - Perhaps in April? ISU dining, Odyssey of the Mind were mentioned again tonight as possible fund raisers.
John Beals shared the results for Kidsight. Lil'Cubs: 30 passed, 1 referred, 2 retakes, NCS Central Elementary: 44 passed, 1 referred, 3 monitor, 4 retakes, Head Start: 5 passed, 1 referred, 1 retake.
It was noted again that several Lions owe dues for 1 year or more. As of January
1st, they now owe for another half-year dues. If you owe dues for more than 1
year please take care of this. Thanks.
