Called to order at 6:30 by President Paul Malsom
Minutes were passed out and read. Motion to accept by Susan Radke, seconded by Jerry Radke. Motion passed.
Treasurer's report presented by John Beals. Motion to accept by Jim Fenn, seconded by Jerry Radke. Motion passed. No bills presented.
Old Business:
Photo and article about our donation to Cubbies Cupboard was not in the Journal.
Jerry will follow up.
Due to a late frost in Colorado, they didn't have a crop. Jim tried contacting orchards in Missouri but didn't get any responses. We were too late to order Georgia peaches. We will not have peach sales this year. Jim Fenn made a motion (suggested by Steve Jordening) that letters be sent to last year's customers telling them that we would not be selling peaches this year but to keep us in mind for next year. Susan seconded the motion. Motion passed. Jim will compose letter. Steve will print them.
New Business:
We will probably not have our summer picnic.
Scholarships winners are: Leonard Maliet - Bailey Crain, Ray McDanial - Isabelle Humpal-Pash
Due to no picnic, checks will be mailed to winners.
Discussion on pancake breakfast tabled.
Slate of Officers is: Pres. - Charlene Jarboe, 1VP - Charlie Lloyd, 2 and 3 VP vacant, Sec. - Loren Heckathorne, Treasurer - John Beals, Lion Tamer - Carlene Hunter, Directors - Jim Fenn & Tom Geist, Tail Twisters - Steve Jordening & Sandy Richardson, Membership Dir. - Mike Miller, Publicity, Web & FB - Jerry Radke, Immediate Past Pres. - Paul Malsom. Vote on slate will be done via Email.
Received a thank you from Cubbies Cupboard for our donation. They said they really needed the money.
