Also, there was $169.07 to Fareway for pancake supplies, and $19.14 to Charlene for Sam's Club. Steve Jordening made a motion to approve the pancake related bills, Second by Mike Seabock. Motion passed.
Scholarships #d#e no report since both Charlene and Charlie are gone.
Increase our meal prices. Before we paid $5.50 and charged our members $6.50. Starting May 1, we pay Windsor Manor $6.50. Jim Fenn made a motion to raise the cost to our members to $7.50, Second by Paul Malsom. Motion passed.
Peach sales -- Nothing as yet. There was a comment that Charlene had already sold 5 lugs. Take their money when we sell them and tell them where a when to pick them up. We need a place to store peaches and this place needs to be refrigerated if stored for more than 2 days. There was an idea to check to see if we can use a refrigerated truck parked at Burkes.
RAGBRAI -- Jim talked to Ray Reynolds at Fire Dept as a contact to have a joint project with them. Tracy Koop and Fred Melvin will head this up for the Fire Dept. Have a meeting on the 1st of month with them. They need to provide the facility and also some help. Jim Fenn will head our committee. We plan to serve Pancakes and sausage, but no eggs. The Fire Dept has 1 griddle. Cook sausage ahead of time. Sausage is links or it was last time. Perhaps we can use Roasters? Mike & Steve volunteered to be on the committee. Serve orange juice, probably water, and maybe milk. We should consider Serving coffee, since we served lots of it last time. Can we barrow 100 cup pot from Gates? Or, use it there?
Don't do free will offering; have set price instead. There is a $50 registration fee to participate. We expect 20,000 riders. Last time we served 3000 and the Catholic Church also served 3000. Sandy also volunteered to be on the committee.
Pancake report - final version. There is an extra $19.14 in expenses -- which fits in a blank spot in the report. This item is to Charlene for Sam's Club.`
Eyeglasses -- Willy said he had a request, but they didn't call back.
Youth Exchange - 3rd weekend -- maybe, Monday July 16? Is this at Camp Hantesa again this year?
Jerry talked about Warren Coleman awards -- we have 2 of them to give out. Who has had Warren Coleman's and who has had Melvin Jones.
We adjourned, at 8:51.
