Indian Creek Country Club, Wednesday Evening, Nov 13, 2019 -- Loren Heckathorne
The Nevada Lions Club held its regular Board of Directors meeting, Nov 13, 2019, in the Indian Creek Country Club dining room. Vice President Charlene Jarboe called the meeting to order at 7:55 pm and acted as Chairperson, with the following members present:

Secretary Heckathorne read the Minutes from the October Board meeting. Bob Hunter motioned to approve the Minutes, 2nd by Steve Jordening. Motion Passed.
John Beals presented the Treasurer's report. Jim Fenn made a motion to accept the Treasurer's report, 2nd by Steve Jordening. Motion passed.
For Bills of Account, there was Halloween candy for $44.52 to Charlene. No motion needed?
Old Business.
John Beals did a Kidsight report. We screened 101 children. The results are in
for those screened at Lil' Cubs: 14 passed, 1 was referred and 3 needed retakes.
Next, we did our annual Christmas baskets. The money goes to the elementary school nurse, who gives some to the middle and high school. Jim Fenn made a motion to give 20 $50 baskets, 2nd by Susan. Motion passed.
Next, we discussed the Christmas party. We don't have to pay for the room, since Bob and Jim are Country Club members. The high school singers are coming again this year. Everything related to the meal will be billed to Lions members. Decorations and entertainment are paid by our club and also, widows are paid by our club. This is to make our members aware of charges, so that there are no surprises. The estimated cost for each meal is about $24.
Breakfast with Santa is Saturday Dec 14 from 7 - 11 am. We should arrive at 6:00 am. We need to move supplies to Gates Hall on Friday before 5:00 pm. Motion by Jim Fenn, 2nd by Steve Jordening to put an advertisement in the paper, one week before event. Motion passed. We will do 8 boxes of sausage again this year, since it is better to have leftovers than to run out.
Being finished with our business, we adjourned at 8:44.
