At our regular meeting, Jim Fenn asked for additional help with Paper Recycling. He previously sent an email attachment of pick-up locations and trailer schedule.
We will have a 1 hour tour of Burke Marketing as our program for Oct 25. Each of us needs to fill out a form.
Breakfast with Santa is Saturday, December 9 and will be our Pancake Day. As a note of information they are not having the Hall of Trees this year.
The Nevada Lions Club held its regular Board of Directors meeting, October 11, 2017, in the Windsor Manor dining room. President Jerry Radke called the meeting to order at 8:21 pm and acted as Chairperson, with the following members present:

Secretary Heckathorne read the minutes from the September 13 Board meeting. John Beals made a motion to approve the Minutes as read, Second by Willy Morfitt. Motion passed.
Treasurer John Beals presented the financial report. John found an extra $45 and he didn't know what it was for. Jim Fenn said it was his. There was a motion to accept the financial report by Charlene Jarboe, Second by Charlie Lloyd. Motion passed.
Bills of account: $170 for eyeglasses. No motion is needed on this.
Jim Fenn presented some information on getting new Lions shirts. Cindy charges $10 for embroidery and the shirts are $20. Cubs charge $25 for embroidery and the shirts are $9. Siggler does silk screening, instead of embroidery.
Kidsight is October 11, 12 and 13. Mike, Loren and John are scheduled for both Lil' Cubs and Head Start, while John, Sandy and Willy are scheduled for Elementary School morning and Bob, Jim and John are scheduled for Elementary School afternoon.
On the topic of magnetic badges, we are waiting to see if we can have the official Lions emblem on the badges.
Downtown Trick or Treat is Thursday, Oct 25 in front of the Chamber Office from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Breakfast with Santa was mentioned. There is a meeting with Ronda from Parks & Rec at 9:00 on Monday at Gates Hall. Jim and Charlene said they would meet with Ronda.
The Nevada Chamber of Commerce is having a remodeling party on October 24.
Leadership Nevada was the next topic. Charlene will call in the morning to find out when and where.
And lastly, we talked about new members. We need to ASK and invite them.
