Indian Creek Country Club, Wednesday Evening, Oct 9, 2019 -- Loren Heckathorne
The Nevada Lions Club held its regular Board of Directors meeting, Oct 9, 2019, in the Indian Creek Country Club dining room. President Paul Malsom called the meeting to order at 7:27 pm and acted as Chairperson, with the following members present:

Secretary Heckathorne read the Minutes from the September Board meeting. Sandy Richardson motioned to approve the Minutes, 2nd by Charlie Lloyd. Motion Passed.
John Beals presented the Treasurer's report. Jerry Radke made a motion to accept the Treasurer's report, 2nd by Charlene Jarboe. Motion passed.
For Bills of Account, presenting check for $21.39 (Paul bought it), Board behind the check and dry erasable markers for $12.81. No motion?
Old Business. Diabetes testing project -- we need a nurse. Working with Hospital is our first choice or McFarland Clinic as second choice. We pay for the test being done. This is an A1C test.
Rotary will let us use their projector.
Next, we discussed eyeglasses for the Wings of Refuge, sexual trafficking victims. Susan made a motion to work with Dr. Dugger and Wings of Refuge to provide eyeglasses, Second by Charlene. Motion passed.
Paul will not be here for the November Board meeting, but Charlene will handle it. As a reminder, we need to do gift baskets at the November meeting.
Breakfast with Santa is Dec 14. Charlene will head this.
John and Charlene will hand out candy for Downtown Trick or Treat, which is on Oct 30 from 5 to 6:30 pm. Paul will wear the Lions costume.
Kidsight at Central Elementary is Thursday, Oct 24. Morning session starts at 8:30 and afternoon session starts at 12:30. Volunteers for both sessions are done.
