Minutes of Sept. 12th, '18 board meeting taken by John Beals.
Called to order at 8:10 by pres. Susan Radke.
Present were Susan Radke, Charlie Lloyd, Jerry Radke, Willie Morfitt, John Beals, Jim Fenn, Bob Hunter, Carlene Hunter, Charlene Jarboe and Sandi Richardson.
Susan read the minutes, in the absence of sec. Loren Heckathorne, of last board meeting, July 11th. Minutes were accepted as read with motion by Charlie Lloyd and seconded by Jerry Radke.
Treasures report was given by treas. John Beals. Project fund bal. of $8903.20, admin. Bal. of $1,980.25, ck book bal. of $10,883.45. Report was accepted with motion by Sandie Richardson and second by Charlene Jarboe.
Charlene Jarboe resented a bill of $39.09 for Halloween candy. Payment approved with motion by Bob Hunter and second by Charlene Jarboe.
John Beals presented reports from Ragbrai and peach sales. Ragbrai netted $3448.19 and peach sales netted $1,050.42.
Bob Hunter gave report on paper recycling. The last load picked up in Aug, weighed 21,900 lbs. We should get a check for $438.00. YTD we've had 6 loads picked up.
There was discussion on what to do with the funds in our project fund. Ideas were a sound system, new ramp at paper trailer, benches along bike path. Members are asked to come up with possible local projects.
Middle School teacher, Amanda Hoffman, is asking for help with her class "Dress for Succcess". She would like someone to teach students how to tie a tie. Times are 8:10 to 9:10, day to be determined but needs to be done by Oct. 25th.
